Wolmaransstad - The North West Department of Arts, Culture, Sports and Recreation (ACSR), in collaboration with the National Department of Sports, Arts and Culture (DSAC), has successfully completed a vital 3-day verification process in Bojanala, Dr. Kenneth Kaunda, and Ngaka Modiri Molema Districts.
Maquassi Hills schools as part of the Dr Kenneth Kaunda District Municipality are expected to participate at the National School Sport Championships coming in July
This thorough check ensures that every single player selected for the upcoming National School Sport Championships in Durban (July 11-14) is properly registered, has all necessary documentation, and meets the age requirements.
The aim is to send the strongest and most compliant team to represent the Province.
Athletes will be competing in:
* Football U15 (boys and girls)
* Rugby U15 (boys and girls)
* Netball U19 (girls)
These talented teams were hand-picked on June 14th at the Provincial School Sport Championships, held at the North West University - Mahikeng campus, following a rigorous selection process from cluster to district levels.
