Bophelo Clinic in Witpoort is among medical centers that will deliver circumcision services in the DR KK District


Rulaganyang, Witpoort - Bophelong Community Clinic in Rulaganyang near Witpoort is among health centres that will provide with Male Medical Circumcision services beginning from the 24th of June 2026

The Dr Kenneth Kaunda District Health said it's winter circumcision campaign for the peak period will be in full swing soon




The district health has urged parents to book for appointments for their children in the meantime at  at their nearest facilities for preparations to go ahead with   the procedure

Another Maquassi Hills health facility such as Nic Bodenstein Hospital in Wolmaransstad  will also form part of other facilities in the district that will facilitate the circumcision procedures during winter peak period

 


Bophelo Clinic will also conduct circumcision procedures in ealierJuly 2026 to accommodate those who would miss the opportunity to  be circumcised in June 2026 and also to reduce the influx patients who want to be circumcised

Pastor and accomplice appeared in court for alleged tender fraud after arrests in Wolmaransstad, Potchefstroom and Mahikeng

Wolmaransstad - Three suspects saw court over alleged tender fraud. It is alleged that the owner of a construction company was lured to Mmabatho in Mahikeng with promises of securing a tender to install solar geysers The complainant reportedly met with the suspects, who allegedly posed as officials from a tender committee and the Department of Public Works. High Court interdicts Ramaphosa's impeachment inquiry for limited period

Parliament’s impeachment committee will not be able to commence public hearings into the Phala Phala saga until the Western Cape High Court decides whether the report it is relying on should be set aside. State will produce evidence to show Mapisa-Nqakula used code words to solicit bribes from SANDF contractor

The state in the case against the former National Assembly Speaker, Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula, said it will produce evidence to show that she used code words linked to her ancestral calling to solicit bribes. The former National Assembly Speaker is on trial in the Pretoria High Court on corruption charges. She is accused of soliciting and accepting bribes of R4.5 million from a South African National Defence Force (SANDF) contractor.
