Wolmaransstad - The OHS officer, intandem with the HR unit of the municipality canvassed all the municipal employees towards the implementation of the wellness program for all the employees, as essentially the well being of employees impacts negatively on their ability to properly execute their duties
A fit employee both socially, psychologically and other wise far holds significance in the abilities of an employee to perform, that's according to Maquassi Hills Municipality
The provincial government has introduced this program as part of workplace rehabilitation of employees
The launch will culminate into many activities which are not limited to games only but other psycho-social issues confronting municipal employees
The program is expected to have many activities, as the session played an introductory role of the program, amongst the invitees or stakeholders was Old mutual which gave financial advices to the employees and guided the session or the meeting on the interconnectedness of a sound financial state viz vie physical, psycholigical wellness
