Leeudoringstad - A Kgakala-based sportsman represented his township as one of the North West Province’s top pool players
Vincent Maphazi, a pool player, plays blackball & 8-ball. He is the 8-ball North West player of the year 2024.
He is affiliated with North West Pool Eightball players, under SABF, SAPS and has provincial colours under North Wesr Pool as well as South African colours under SABF
Last year Maphazi qualified in Cape Town to represent the country at the EBA Nations Cup of Blackball Pool held in England
Maphazi said, he has struggled to get enough funds to pay for himself as that is according to expectations. The amount Maphazi he had required to book himself a spot was over R45 000

Mphazi qualified again to represent South Africa and sought for financial assistance. Mphazi needed to make his dream come true by competing for South Africa and his Kgakala township at the EBA NCBP
