"Mayor, please approve our site, apply budget of housing, water, electricity and paving while seeking for original stand owners of Extension 17 and 18" - Molebogeng Phoko, Concerned resident
"Mayor's actions to remove unauthorized land occupants are only taken when residents allocate themselves into private land without permission, but Mamarela it's an informal settlement" - Thabiso Selebano, Concerned resident
The municipality said, no one is allowed to occupy the land without being allocated by the municipality, anyone found occupying land without authorization from the municipality will be removed
Residents who have been allocated RDP houses are required to move into their houses and failure to do so will leave the municipality with no choice but to allocate these houses to people who need them
