Tswelelang - The famous eatery in Maquassi Hills, The OG Lifestyle held an accommodative event of the LGBTQI+ to celebrate international pride month
The event was held on the 28th June 2025 at the OG Lifestyle premises. The theme for the event was: Be Yourself!
The OG Lifestyle said, they were celebrating love, identity, freedom, and the beautiful diversity of the LGBTQ+ community
The OG Lifestyle has urged communities to spread kindness, stand proud, and support one another—today and every day
In 2024, the Maquassi Hills Municipality cancelled the LGBTQIA+ & Cultural Festival Event that was supposed to be held in Tswelelang, Ext 13 sports ground
The municipality cited unforseen and dire material conditions that saw the event officially being called off
"The municipality hereby informs all the stakeholders and interested parties of the cancelation of the cultural fest & LGBTQIA+ event that was anticipated to be staged on the 26/09/2024 at Tswelelang Ext 13 sports ground, as a consequence of unforseen and dire material conditions, the Office of the Mayor was pushed to officially call off the event" - Maquassi Hills Municipality
The OG Lifestyle's event sought to bring confidence amongst the LGBTQ+ community and society at large
