Leeudoringstad, Kgakala - A Kgakala-based sportsman, Luntu Mayo urges schools to find an amicable way they can engage in a work with local coaches in the area
This comes at the back of the struggles local schools soccer faces during match hosts
Mayo says, if local schools within Maquassi Hills can work with local coaches within respective areas, football will come alive again
"If our local schools can find a perfect respectful way to work with local coaches football in schools will come alive again" - Luntu Mayo
Mayo praised talent Leeudoringstad has, however, he challenged the fact, why is Tiragalo Secondary School isn't one of the best school within Maquassi Hills sub-district
"With so much Talent in Leeudoringstad I fail to understand why our High School is not the best in Maquassi Hills" - Luntu Mayo
Hollywoodbets Super League and LFA League are dominated by soccer teams from Kgakala near Leeudoringstad as well as other teams within Maquassi Hills
Mayo says, 70% of players who are part of the teams that play for Hollywood league and LFA league are from Tiragalo Secondary School
Mayo provided an analysis on the state of football within Maquassi Hills urging a relationship between schools and local coaches to enhance stability within local school soccer teams within Kgakala and Maquassi Hills Municipality
"Leeudoringstad teams are dominating Hollywood league and LFA league and 70% of the players attends ko Tiragalo. And when it's time to work with coaches, it is always the ones that are not even performing well in their respective teams and some don't even have teams" - Luntu Mayo
Luntu also criticised local football for tainting the favourable sport with dirty mud after several losses in local games against other schools
"When we were coaching at Thakadu, we only lost one game in Klerksdorp and did well against all schools in Maquassi Hills, We also played well at Tiragalo but whoever was leading sports did us dirty" - Luntu Mayo
Luntu said, Tiragalo Secondary School had a competitive structure of player to take the school soccer team to new heights
"I remember going with Mr Mokobe to Potch when I got there they took all the players to participate at Kho-Kho, and we had set up a competitive squad that can take Tiragalo to new heights. I believe now they've learnt from all of that and this year they'll do better and be on top, they have quality" - Lunto Mayo
