NW Social Development held dialogue against trafficking illicit drugs in Matlosana



Serving as a build up to the commemoration of International Day Against Drugs and Illicit Trafficking, Matlosana Local Drug Action Committee held a community dialogue with Alabama residents, to highlight the dangers of substance and drug abuse.

The dialogue highlighted the common forms of drugs used within the community, and identified possible solutions to curb the increase of drug and substance abuse.

It was identified that marijuana and hook pipe (bubbly bubbly) are the most common forms of drugs used within the area

Stakeholders and community members pledged to intensify the fight against drug use and curb the increase of the usage of such substances.
